CVH Evaluation Committee to Meet

Monday, March 8, 2010

Coquille Valley Hospital will hold meetings of its “Evaluation Committee” Tuesday and Wednesday.

The purpose of the meetings is to review submittals responding to the hospitals request for proposal for Design-Build Delivery Services for a potential new / replacement hospital facility.

The Committee will score proposals using pre-established criteria as published in the RFP, discuss, and make recommendations to the Board with respect to:  a candidate or candidates to be considered for subsequent interview(s) and/or a recommended highest ranked candidate with or without interview to be recommended for selection to the District Board.  The District Board will consider recommendations of the Evaluation Committee and render a selection decision at a future, separately noticed Board meeting, tentatively scheduled for March 18, 2010.

Interviews with candidates if held, may be held on March 11, 12, 15 and 16 at a location(s) to be determined and will be separately noticed.

The Evaluation Committee and/or the District Board reserves the right to:

  • Conduct discussions with Proposers who submit proposals the District has determined to be closely competitive or to have a reasonable chance of being selected for award.  Such discussions would be conducted for the purpose of clarification, to ensure full understanding of, and responsiveness to, the solicitation requirements. Revisions of proposals may be permitted after the submission of proposals and before award for the purpose of obtaining best and final offers.  In conducting discussions, the contracting agency may not disclose information specific to or derived from proposals submitted by competing Proposers;

  • Employ methods of Design-Builder Team selection including but not limited to award based solely on the ranking of proposals, negotiation with the highest ranked Proposer, competitive negotiations, multiple-tiered competition designed to identify a class of Proposers that fall within a competitive range, or, to otherwise eliminate from consideration a class of lower ranked Proposers, or any combination of methods.
